Folly Cove, MA runs roughly 10 to 80 feet deep in the area people use.
Folly Cove, MA is better with some experience behind you.
Dive near high tide, which covers more of the entry rocks. South or light winds are best, and a north or northeast wind is the usual reason to skip it.
The small lot at the head of the cove on Gott Avenue is for Gloucester resident permit holders, enforced in season. Visiting divers drop gear there, then park along Route 127 towards Rockport or pay at Halibut Point State Park.
