Getting in

Shore access, walk in off the sand

Best conditions

Swim in the guarded season, late June through Labor Day, when lifeguards are on duty at the seashore beaches.

Getting through the gate

$25 a vehicle for the day in season, or $20 for a motorcycle and $15 per person on foot or bike (16 and up). A $60 annual pass covers all six seashore beaches from late May to mid-September. The park takes no cash.

Parking

Beach lots with seasonal fee booths. From mid-June to Labor Day the Coast Guard Beach lot is limited to Eastham residents and placards, so visitors park at Little Creek and take a short shuttle.

Federal parkland within Cape Cod National Seashore, run by the National Park Service.
